| Description | Improved hybrid Penstemons that bear spikes of large, vibrant, tubular flowers in colours ranging from light pink to purple to red to magenta to violet, most with a contrasting white centre. Strong, upright, yet compact plants, they will flower from spring to autumn. Occasionally trim back spent flower spikes to ensure continuous blooming. Prefers full sun and light soils but is generally unfussy. Heat tolerant. |
